Liquid spill inspired forms.

This body of work explores creation within the bounds of what already exists. The backdrops for my artwork are created by letting substances like bleach, beet juice, coffee and ink disperse on wet and dry paper. Once the substances dried, I used these stains as as inspiration; I built into and upon the forms that had been created by the liquids to imagine something new, playing with the dichotomy of randomness and control.
